LiteDesk is a “fitness app” that makes it easy to create a to-do list and track your work. While we’d all like to spend our entire workdays sitting on a park bench watching butterflies and thinking deeply, the reality is that most of us get a lot done in our spare time. We spend hours searching for things in piles of papers and files, organizing them into projects and categories, and then having to reorganize them again when we need to. LiteDesk makes it easy to jot down your thoughts and ideas wherever you happen to be, freeing you from the paperwork, paper, and filing-cabinet tyranny.
LiteDesk combines the simplicity of pen and paper with the convenience of the computer. There are two basic screens: the To Do List and the Projects List.
Tasks can be automatically added to the To Do List. You can list anything from your upcoming goals to the current project you are working on. For even greater efficiency, you can create simple task lists, assign a due date, and add notes to your tasks. Projects can be organized by subject (Home, Work, etc.) or by year. There are plenty of third-party extensions that allow you to add in-depth information about your tasks. The Projects List also supports multiple projects. Projects and their associated tasks can be grouped into custom folders. Finally, each project can be set to run daily, weekly, or monthly. When a task is completed, you can view the notes associated with the task and make a list of the next steps.
