There are some truly fantastic games out there. This game looks really fun to play, and if it had a platform on which to release (PC or PS4 or something), I’d consider picking it up in a heartbeat. I didn’t get very far, but the limited demo was really nice, especially due to the touch of realism introduced by the “touch screen” magic spells/attacks with the controller. It’s not perfect, but a gamer’s game.

Best of all, the developer seems to be very supportive of the indie game scene. They have a community forum where you can ask questions about the game and get feedback from the devs. They have also been pretty responsive to questions I’ve put to them and tried to clarify a couple of things.

This game really shows off the potential for consoles and mobile platforms. Couldn’t have asked for more!

■Adventure Game Play

1) About Class System

Depending on your role in the conflict, there are both “standard” classes and “advanced” classes. Standard classes can be divided into 3 categories: Warrior, Mage, and Fighter, which are playable classes in the game. Each class has a variety of skills and stat adjustments available.

2) About Skill System

There are 3 skill systems in the game: Luck, Intellect, and Skill. Luck is the traditional attribute for characters in RPGs, but in Elden Ring, luck is slightly added to Skill, giving the character a unique play style. If you lead with luck, you can enjoy using skills in the field, while Intellect is used in dungeons and Agility is for driving.

3) About Growth and Development System

You can refine your character by leveling-up, which is achieved by strengthening the attributes of each skill. This will cause the attribute score to rise, and you will be able to perform the abilities of the new level. You will be able to access stronger skills as your attributes rise.

4) About Special Skills

Special Skills can be used in place of class skills. They are generally used in certain fields and dungeons of the game, and they are strengthened when you gain special traits from experience. Depending on the situation, some Special Skills are useless for a while, while others can be used for 10 times more than usual.
